If weird and creepy is your scene, then Toronto’s Blood in the Snow (BiTS) Film Festival will be right up your dark alley!

I worked with fellow students Emily Jordan, Arjun Hari and Quinn Henderson to design a landing page and thank you page for BiTS’s Dark Visions program, a collection of horror shorts and one of the festival’s feature programs.

We went for a full-on visual assault!

As the team’s designer, I came up with a concept that fit the organization’s target audience and unique brand identity (lots of graphic imagery and bold colours) but that also played with those elements in a new way.

Quinn (our Copywriter) wrote the copy and came up with the brilliant idea of replacing the more conventional “Thank You” with something a bit more in keeping with our brand’s voice . . .

A landing page for the Blood in the Snow Film Festival, with the festival logo and text in white against a black and red background. Sections of movie posters are displayed in black and white alongside a large blood spatter in red.
A thank you page that reads You've Been Warned, with white text on a black background and red blood dripping down at the top and a zombie hand reaching in from the lower left to grasp a button that reads Donate.
